We are seeking to employ Care Workers to provide direct care to people in a range of settings in order to provide their carers with a break.

We are seeking people with:

  • Cert III in Aged Care;
  • Highly developed communication skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience in working with people with dementia, younger people with disabilities, frail aged people or people with mental illness;
  • A Class 1 Driver\'s Licence;
  • A First Aid Certificate.
The positions are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, and may involve travel to locations within these regions.

Applicants would be expected to work, as required, both within and outside of normal working hours. Ongoing training is provided.

The Salary Package Value range after application of full salary sacrificing including meal entertainment = $39,478 to $43,910(FTE). The cash gross salary range (before tax) is $31,218 to $34,719 dependent on experience and/or qualifications.
